It may be one of the most transformative things we’ve seen in years. Since its release in late 2022, Open AI’s ChatGPT has most everyone talking about it, and even trying it.

Schools, universities, and businesses are scrambling to figure out how it can be used, or whether to even ban its use. But here at The Random Sample, we’ll leave that debate to others – at least for now.

In this episode, we explore what large language models are, and how they evolved very recently to the point where we are now with Open AI’s Chat G-P-T. Plus, we look into some things we all should be aware of when it comes to this AI assistant.
